Game Logging
Log in-game events — STS sessions, priorities, messages, and staff requests.
The Game Logging module lets staff log in-game events from Discord, creating a record of significant server activity like shoulder-to-shoulder (STS) sessions, priority calls, and server-wide messages.
Configuration
- Run
/config - Navigate to Game Logging
- Set the logging channel where all game log entries will be posted
Logging an STS
Use /game sts to log a Shoulder-to-Shoulder session. An STS is when all available units report to a central location for a briefing or announcement.
The log entry records:
- Who called the STS
- The time it was called
- Any message or reason provided
Logging a Priority
Use /game priority to log a Roleplay Permission or Priority call. This covers situations where a priority scene is started (high-speed chases, major incidents, etc.) and roleplay permissions are adjusted.
Logging a Message
Use /game message to log an in-game server announcement, equivalent to the ER:LC :m (message) or :h (hint) commands. This creates a Discord record of everything broadcast in-game.
Staff Requests
Use /staff request to notify available staff that more help is needed in-game. This sends a notification to staff members who aren't currently on duty, asking them to join the server.
ER:LC Integration
If you have the ER:LC Integration enabled, some game logging commands can be executed directly from Discord and applied to your live server. See Game Security for more details.
