Dispatch Panel
Creating, managing, and closing calls in ERM's dispatch system.
The Dispatch Panel is where your dispatch team manages active calls and coordinates unit response. It's a live view accessible from the ERM Dashboard.
Creating a Call
Dispatchers can create a new call from the dispatch board:
- Click New Call
- Fill in the call details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Call Type | The nature of the incident (e.g., Traffic Stop, 10-50, Robbery) |
| Location | The in-game location of the incident |
| Description | Additional details about the call |
| Priority | Priority level (1 = highest, 3 = lowest) |
- Click Create — the call appears on the dispatch board and is visible to all online units
Assigning Units
Once a call is created, units can be attached to it:
- Dispatcher assigns — Click on a call and select available units to attach
- Unit self-assigns — A unit can click Attach to Call from their status panel
Assigned units appear on the call card and their status updates to Busy.
Updating a Call
Click any active call to edit it:
- Update the location or description
- Change the priority level
- Add or remove assigned units
- Add notes or updates to the call log
Closing a Call
When an incident is resolved:
- Open the call
- Click Close Call
- Select a Disposition (e.g., Resolved, Report Filed, No Action)
Closed calls are archived and remain searchable in call history.
Call History
All closed calls are stored and can be accessed from CAD → Call History. You can filter by date, call type, unit, or disposition.
Panic alerts
If a unit activates a panic alert from the CAD, all dispatchers are notified immediately with the unit's last known location and status.
