Invite the Bot
Add ERM to your Discord server.
Before you can use ERM, you need to add it to your Discord server. You must have the Manage Server permission to invite bots.
Steps
Open the invite link
Visit ermbot.xyz and click Add to Server, or use the direct invite link from ERM's support server.
Select your server
Choose the Discord server you want to add ERM to from the dropdown. Only servers where you have Manage Server permission will appear.
Grant permissions
ERM requires the following permissions to function correctly:
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
| Manage Roles | Assign/remove on-duty, LOA, and RA roles |
| Manage Channels | Create logging channels if needed |
| Send Messages | Post shift logs, punishment logs, and notifications |
| Embed Links | ERM uses embeds for all responses |
| Read Message History | Required for modcall detection |
| View Channels | See channels configured for logging |
Click Authorize to grant the permissions and add ERM.
Complete initial setup
Once ERM is in your server, run /setup to begin the initial configuration. See the Initial Setup guide for a full walkthrough.
Bot not appearing after invite?
Try kicking and re-inviting ERM. If the issue persists, ask in the ERM Support Server.
