Activity Tracking
Monitor department member activity and enforce shift quotas.
ERM's activity tracking pulls shift data from the Shift Management module and surfaces it at the department level. You can see who is meeting activity requirements, who is below quota, and generate reports for department leadership.
How It Works
Activity tracking is automatically enabled for any department that has shift types configured. When a department member logs a shift using /duty manage, that time is credited to their department activity record.
ERM tracks:
- Total time logged per quota period
- Time by shift type (if multiple types are configured)
- LOA/RA periods, which are excluded from quota calculations automatically
Viewing Activity
Use the ERM Dashboard:
- Go to your department's page
- Click Activity
- Select the time period (current week, last week, custom range)
You'll see a list of all members with their logged hours and whether they've met quota.
Alternatively, use /activity show in Discord to get a quota report sent as an embed.
Setting Department Quotas
Quotas can be set at the global level or per-rank:
Global department quota:
- Open the department's Settings in the dashboard
- Set the Weekly Quota (in hours)
Rank-specific quotas:
- Go to the department's Ranks section
- Edit a rank and set a different quota for that rank
Lower-ranked members typically have lower requirements; rank-specific quotas override the global setting.
Excluding Periods from Tracking
Members on active LOA or RA are automatically excluded from quota enforcement for the duration of their leave. No manual adjustment is needed.
If a member should be excluded for another reason, a Management-level user can manually void shifts or adjust time using /duty admin.
Activity Reports
Use /activity show to generate an activity report for a specified time period. The report shows:
- All department members
- Hours logged in the period
- Whether they've met quota
- LOA/RA status
This report can be exported from the dashboard to CSV for external use.
