Record Templates
Configure arrest records, citation templates, and warrant formats for your CAD.
Record templates define the structure of documents your staff create in the CAD — arrest reports, traffic citations, field interview cards, and more. Templates are configured once by administrators and then available to all staff.
Types of Records
| Type | Use case |
|---|---|
| Arrest Record | Document a civilian arrest with charges, narrative, and officer details |
| Citation | Issue a traffic or civil infraction to a civilian |
| Warrant | Create an arrest or search warrant for a civilian |
| Field Interview | Log a contact with a civilian without formal action |
| Custom | Any other document type your department needs |
Creating a Template
From the ERM Dashboard:
- Go to CAD → Record Templates
- Click New Template
- Select the record type
- Configure the fields:
- Required fields — Must be filled before the record can be saved
- Optional fields — Can be left blank
- Dropdown fields — Pre-set options for the responder to choose from
- Save the template
Using a Record Template
When a staff member creates a new record in the CAD:
- Click New Record from the CAD panel
- Select the template to use
- Fill in the required fields
- Search for and attach the civilian (by Roblox username or record number)
- Submit the record
Submitted records are saved to the civilian's profile and searchable by any CAD user.
Civilian Lookups
Use the CAD's Name Search to look up a civilian's record history:
- In the CAD, click Name Search
- Enter the Roblox username
- View any existing records, warrants, or citations attached to that user
Roblox account linking
For records to attach to the correct civilian, the user must have linked their Roblox account using /link. Records can also be manually assigned by searching the Roblox username directly.
